ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Deputy Premier and Minister for Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate Change, Hon Julian Fraser, RA (R3), has informed residents of Anegada that land matters settled with the Anegada Land Committee will soon be honoured.

Hon Fraser revealed this on The Virgin Islands Voice on July 9, 2025, where he said, “As far as the Crown Lands, we have gotten to the point now where everything is basically now before the Cabinet to decide on the committee.”

In February 2025, the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change published a bulletin seeking applications for the position of Member of the Crown Lands Advisory Board as established under the Crown Lands Management Act, 2024.

The bill was passed by members of the House of Assembly on Monday, June 17, 2024, after spending three weeks in Committee.

Governor Daniel Pruce assented to the Crown Lands Management Act, 2024 on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

The Act sets out the criteria and processes for the disposal and leasing of Crown Lands. This will help ensure decisions are subject to an open and transparent process.

The Crown Lands Management Act also fulfils the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) recommendation (B30), responding to the Review on Crown Lands published in January 2023.

Matters settled previously will be honoured- Hon Fraser

In what Deputy Premier Fraser termed “good news” for the people of Anegada, he said, “Instead of waiting for the Crown Land Management Committee Advisory Board to get in place to settle all your issues, we have decided to take on the matters which we settled with the Anegada Land Committee.”

This is in keeping with a promise made to the people by Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).

“That paper is before the Cabinet right now, I don’t see why that shouldn’t be concluded by the end of this month, and it’s a work in progress taking longer than we were hoping for, but at least something is happening, and hopefully it would speed up as time goes by,” Hon Fraser concluded.

Politicians promise is a common as the rundown infrastructure, the derelict vehicles, the wild helmetless reckless motorcycle riders, fastly rising out of controles high basic need good, etc., that soon to be done, but not truly genuinely start in the B.V.I journey to no where great, but rather stagnant in a circular cycle of going disgrace.

Which of the following statement is correct?
    a) Me and you will win together.
    b) I and you will win together.
    c) I and you will win together.

    d) help me get to the top of Mount wealthy by re-electing me once again as you D3 representative. Remember that I have promised to honored your Crown Land issue soon.

    e) Cursed is every man that put trust (confedence in man as his defence, he shall be as a tree in a parched, and salty place, (deserted, deliberately left to fend for self most of the time) and shall not experience fruitfulness.

    f) the democratic system on paper is good, but is badly practice by Politicians worldwide except in the B.V.I?

    g) Trust in God our Creator, alone, lean (put to confedence in the flesh) not to your own limited understanding. In all your (and my) ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct yours, and my, safe, path.

AT least the dry land parcels on the drowned island will be settled before the island is drowned by rising sea level.
