ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- It was the hottest ticket in town to attend the Premier’s 2023 Christmas Party.

The party, dubbed as a ‘Gala’, was hosted by Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) and Mrs Carolyn Shallow-Wheatley.

The event, which offered good music, food, and drinks, took place under the stars on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Prime Restaurant in Road Town, the capital city.

The crowd was huge with over 500 persons in attendance and many "dressed to kill".

Guests were also excited about posing for a photo with the first family.

There was much dancing, especially to the live music of local groups Razor Bladez and 3G's.

We have provided just a small sample of photos of persons in attendance.

This is the Premier and Mrs Wheatley's second party and, from the look of things, the first couple will have other successful galas going forward.

It was still a ghetto style Christmas party. The Premier is out here living LA VIDA LUCA ON THE TAXPAYERS MONEY. It would have been nice if he had turned the festival village into a Christmas wonderland and have a Christmas party for all the children on the Island. All the cronies were eating and drinking good off the taxpayers dime. ANOTHER BIG BUDGET LOW CLASS GHETTO CHRISTMAS PARTY.

It may have been big budget (I wouldn't know) but it was neither low class nor ghetto. If you think a Christmas party for all children would have been good (and I agree with you), say so, but there's no need to try to disparage Saturday night's event in order to suggest an alternative.

Chile go sit somewhere in the dark corner and relax. No one was trying to disparage any Saturday night event. People were to busy wondering if the dump site was going to blow again engulfing the Island.

You could not have said it any better. Just because he is Premier means that he can do as he pleases. What have he done since he was well, HANDED THE POSITION ON A GOLDEN TRAY. Travel first class and stay in 5 star hotels. As it is, he was not invited to the climate meeting in Dubai. Thousands of dollars of the tax payers money down the drain yet again. This dude is a narcissist and a control freak.

If he had paid for his Christmas party out of his own pockets no one would have said anything or give a damn. But when you are using the public’s money, they have every right to speak out anyway they damn well choose.
