Premier Wheatley to attend King’s coronation

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Sources close to the newly appointed Premier have told our news centre that Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) will be in attendance at the King’s coronation scheduled for May 6, 2023, in the United Kingdom (UK).

Hon Wheatley was appointed Premier after his Party gained 6 seats, the most of any 4 political parties vying for the House of Assembly.

Deputy Premier Hon Lorna G. Smith, OBE will be appointed Acting Premier while the Premier is away.

        Thank you. He is the sitting leader of the territory and he has to attend. About the first class thing, yes, all leaders of any Country, State, OT’S and Territory’s always fly first class, it is a security thing. I was once on a plane flying from JFK to Italy and the former Mayor was on the same flight sitting in first class and his handlers were in business class. None of the passengers knew until the plane landed in Italy. It is just a security thing.

    On November 2nd 1930 seventy two different nations who comprised the League of Nations the former United Nations organization were represented by their monarchs and heads of state at the coronation of Haile Selassie as emperor of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. They all went and bowed before him as King of Kings Lord of Lords and Conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah his official titles recognized by the world and handed down through the Solomonic Dynasty. Some of these same nations namely Italy and Germany later tried to overthrow the Emperor and take away his kingdom in what became World War 2. Who ever controls the narrative controls the world. Africans were defeated in the mind that is why we are not united. Stop blogging foolishness and ignorance about the Premier show some respect and common sense and begin to do the work that is necessary to get us to the place from whence we fell. If people are to know and understand the real world, they must give up superstitious beliefs because they have a narcotic effect on the mind. It is time now to look beyond local petty politics. Time to unite and build a nation that we can all be proud of.
