ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) will address the BVI Ideas Fest 2025.

This flagship gathering, which showcases business initiatives in the Virgin Islands, will bring together brilliant thought leaders from around the globe, alongside dynamic local speakers and presenters. The event aims to explore the ideas shaping the future and help us understand the present.

Once titled the BVI Business Outlook Conference, held at Scrub Island Resort from 2011 to 2017, the initiative returns after an eight-year hiatus as the BVI Ideas Festival.

The think tank event is set to position the Territory not only to envision but also to implement the next chapter of resilient and inclusive prosperity. The festival's intimate gatherings offer a unique and unforgettable experience.

Event organisers stated, "When people and ideas meet in the right atmosphere, something powerful happens. The Ideas Fest aims to cultivate this magic through a thoughtfully curated program that includes keynotes, panels, workshops, and creative sessions."

BVI Ideas Fest 2025 will take place at Peter Island Resort from November 11-12, 2025.

According to the event organisers, Premier Wheatley has accepted an invitation to a seaside chat during the festival.

'Transformative conversations & bold ideas'

According to a Facebook post, participants will have the opportunity to hear firsthand the Premier's ideas for the upcoming year, particularly regarding tourism. Virgin Islanders are encouraged to attend this event at Peter Island Resort for two days of transformative conversations and bold ideas that will shape the future of the Virgin Islands.

Participants can expect to hear from local, regional, and international speakers on topics including:

- Entrepreneurship and Venture Building

    I hope the island's youth are not led to believe that ideas are beyond their means.

    Let me assure them that invariably, ideas are conceived in the solitary mind of the creator and born through necessity in impoverished circumstances.

    Rarely do they come into the world at 5 Star hotel with a minimum entry fee of $410.
