@ asking for a friend: The vast majority of the people of the British Virgin Islands do need independence, but from what, from our own ignorance of trusting political conmen and conwomen posing as honorable leaders.

If the Premier was to return home from London to announce he had achieved independence from the nasty Colonial UK would he then become President of the Virgin Islands, as well as President of the Virgin Bank of China.?

All of this unnecessary travelling could fund the pay increases of our nurses. Wasted money traveling back and forth, but no funds were found to pay our much-needed medical staff. Stop all of the parties and get with the funding.
