Premier Wheatley appointed Honourary Member of Jaleel Cameron Foundation
The honour was bestowed on the leader of the country during a service at St Paul’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
Premier honoured for his service above self
The premier, who is also a Lion, received the honour as he is no stranger to service and continues to practice service above self daily.
The foundation also honoured a staff member of the Premier’s Office, Cherryl A. Fahie, for her 10 years of dedicated service to the foundation.
The foundation is a charitable organisation
The Jaleel Cameron Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in the Virgin Islands and dedicated to promoting epilepsy awareness and supporting community members in need.
It was founded by Jaleel F. Cameron, a young philanthropist who began his charitable efforts as a child.
The foundation provides various forms of aid, including Medical and Educational Support, Community Assistance and Fundraising Events.
