The League of British Virgin Islanders is a USVI–based non-profit organisation whose purpose is to foster the continued improvement of the Greater Virgin Islands community through scholarship, cultural exchanges and community involvement.
According to President of the League, Mr Moleto A. Smith, “we strive to connect British Virgin Islanders and Belongers and persons with BVI heritage in a social and cordial atmosphere, while strengthening inter-relationship between the communities of the Greater Virgin Islands.”
Mr Smith, a former two-time USVI Gubernatorial candidate, noted that his group feels honoured to have Premier Fahie “accept our invitation as it demonstrates his commitment to cementing the long standing relationship between the British [Virgin Islands] and USVI and the value he places on the solid bond both residents share.”
