‘Pray for Premier & those named in indictment’– BVI Christian Council urges VI

-calls for additional prayers for Governor, Deputy Governor, Cabinet & Acting Premier
Amidst news of the Detainment of Premier Andrew A. Fahie (R1) over an alleged drug conspiracy in the US, the BVI Christian Council has released a statement calling for prayers for the VI leader and others named in the indictment. Photo: Facebook
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The BVI Christian Council has released a statement calling for prayers for the VI Premier, Hon Andrew A. Fahie, and others named in the indictment over an alleged drug conspiracy in the US.

The organisation in a statement released today, April 30, 2022, said, “The BVI Christian Council wishes to encourage you, the people of this Territory, not to lose hope but to hold on to the Lord more than ever before.”

The Council reminded that the Bible in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 exhorts that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all men and for all who are in authority.

This they said, is so “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and holiness, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God.”

Pray for truth, righteousness & justice - BVI Christian Council

Hon Fahie along with the Managing Director of the BVI Ports Authority, Ms Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard both appeared before a Miami judge on, April 29, 2022 on charges related to conspiracy to import a controlled substance and money laundering.

The two were arrested at an airport in Miami on April 28, 2022, by the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in a sting operation. The son of Pickering-Maynard, Kadeem S. Maynard was reportedly arrested in the USVI and is facing the charges.

The Council added, “Let us, therefore, join as a Territory to pray for Premier Andrew A. Fahie and those named in the indictment.”

They also called for continued prayers for His Excellency the Governor, John J. Rankinc CMG; Deputy Governor David D. Archer Jr;  Acting Premier Dr Hon. Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) and the Cabinet of this Territory.

“Let us pray that truth, righteousness, justice, grace, and peace would prevail and that the LORD would have mercy on us all. Let us pray for God’s Kingdom rule to flourish in this our beloved Territory,” they said while asking that persons remain calm and peaceful as the process takes its course.

It got all kind of people blatantly knowingly sinning including engaging in homosexuality, fornication, lying, stealing, YET saying Fahie was mocking God, which he was BUT YOU ARE DOING THE SAME BY STAYING IN YOUR SIN INCLUDING THOSE DEFENDING SIN RATHER THAN THE WORD OF GOD.

As for those who quick to throw the word “homophobic”, “phobic” refers to a fear and standing for God and not sin is not fear.

Wow! I cant believe that this is their focus. Why don't we pray for all the drug victims. The addicts, their families, the victims of drug related crimes and drug related gun valence. Can we take a moment and pray for these people.

Better yet lets pray for leaders who will not allow our territory to be used to facilitate this abhorrence. I am not hating. I'm just wondering why our focus is always so screwed.

That title called HONORABLE has got to go. Most of them are dishonorable. Yes, I said it and telling the truth. The UK and other big countries are nothing but a bunch of murdering drug dealing money laundering CROOKS, and want to hang small places for handling their trickledown effect they send their way. Corruption is everywhere, yet they want hang the smallest ones. These big countries are the ones destroying our planet.

No pity from me. He use the cruise conference as a cover for what he was doing. Dude wanted to fly into the BVI like a rock star with the $700,000 pack in designer bags and the bricks. The money and drugs was the FEDS money that they do sting operations with. Once he made connect with the money, the DEA storm in. His immunity status and Diplomatic status was automatically revoked. He is no longer Premier of the Country and his Administration needs to step down ASAP. You can’t tell me his Administration did not know what was going on.

Praying time is done. It’s now time for action to hold people accountable for their actions and get the Territory up to standard.

I can pray, that truth, righteousness, justice, grace, and peace would prevail and that the LORD would have mercy on us all. Let us pray for God’s Kingdom rule to flourish in this our beloved Territory. But I only pray justice is served on Andrew who has shamed the BVI forever and Maynard and her son Kadeem.

To the Christian Councel. For year's you all sat down and saw all the injustices in this Country and none of you spoke out in any strong way. John the Baptist lost his head because he spoke out against the wrong doings in his day. Elijah ran for his life because he stood up for righteousness You all are trying to serve God and man. We could oray for the Premier's soul but the Bible says that whatsoever a man sow he shall reap. My prayers are for the families and the nation that have been impacted by this matter. You cannot be calling onJesus at every meeting but behind the scene you are using magic and witchcraft..

The council can go suck a rock for all I care. Christianity has done nothing but cripple and terrorize mankind. Who called God's name more than Andrew? Which society has more Christians than BVi? Bunch of hypocrites! My people need to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask what future they want for their future generations. On social media they pretending, posting scenic pictures and still boasting this is the BVI while avoiding the topic at hand altogether. We've seen this technique before. Just ignore, avoid, deflect and it will go away. The next move is to become defensive. But it's too late for damage control. The WORLD has it's eyes on us. We can do better, now is our chance!

(I made a copy of the affidavit to read) In paragraph 34, Fahie asked the CS (confidential source) “to start with a prayer, and then immediately began to speak about the money that he needed to pay the man from Senegal. The money was payment for “fixing” political issues.”
In paragraph 38, Fahie said, “he believed in magic and witches, and how to read lies in people.”
By his own accord, he stated he believes in God, magic, and witches; therefore, let him pray for himself. He was dabbling in the highest God and in black magic.
Most importantly, the UK will take over. At that point, the UK will receive extradition papers to turn over Government Official 1. This is when the end begins.

Fahie had us praying for the BVI, when all he and his henchmen had to do with all of that ill gotten money, instead of lining their own pockets, should have fixed our horrible bad roads. As of now, we cannot drive 5 feet without our vehicles dropping down into holes big enough to swallow a person. I really hate so called leaders who do not know they are supposed to look out for our infrastructure. Bunch of greedy devil scum.

Prayer can still help. GOD IS STILL MERCIFUL. However, it's ineffective for us to pray for Fahie. Until he acknowledge his miserable failure and blatant disregard for the Almighty God, confess his sins and forsake them, we cannot pray for him. God is not mocked. Behold thy sins shall find the out. Lord, as a nation we have sinned against you. Please forgive us. Please O God. PLEASE

Everything nowadays is praying, it seems we only remember when we are in difficult moments. How about we asking him if he would be pleased before we engage in any enterprise. He prayed with the agents before they went on their mission, I wonder what God told him after? Maybe he disobey.
We have been praying too much for decades and years to a invisible being in the sky, 2 corinthians 13 versus 5 give you the answer, Jesus christ is in you, therefore man is God and he in us and we in him. Until we recognise that, we will continue praying and receiving the wrong results.
