PORT PURCELL, Tortola, VI- More than 24 hours after illegal narcotics were reportedly seized on a vessel in the Virgin Islands, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has yet to disclose the quantity of the illegal drugs or any further information.

According to reports, the vessel on which the drugs were seized is named 'C Elizabeth II', although police did not disclose the name in their press release on December 9, 2025.

The RVIPF also did not state the type of illegal narcotics discovered, although our sources have said it is cocaine.

There is also no word of arrests following the joint operation police said was conducted on Monday night, December 8, 2025.

"I would kindly ask for your patience as our teams are relentlessly working," Interim Acting Commissioner of Police Richard Ullger told our News Centre around 12:00 PM today.

Mr Ullger also said a press release would be issued "once we are in a position to do so."

It is hot out there on the waters in the Caribbean. The USA just seized a Venezuela oil tanker on its way to I think India. Correct me if you may.

Well that is on them. They know what time it is, if they want to play Russian Roulette with their lives that is strictly on them. I know one thing I am not venturing out on the open waters not even to pull a fish pot.

You will only have a problem if you loaded a ton of drugs on your boat. They do not blow-up random boats, they have been followed by satellite camera's and on ground intelligence, they know who the people are, they know what the drugs are and where they are going. The more drug runners they obliterate the better. The technology they have is incredible. They can tell what color eyes you ahve from miles away.

Is it a coincidence that as soon as we get a non-local CoP, the drug seizures start again? I suspect not!
    • Of course not (10/12/2025, 18:43) Like (4) Dislike (3) Reply
Not one seizure in the last 12 months. Crime increased by 58% under a local interim commissioner. Be careful what you wish for.

Coincidence. The Local cop and her team had a large drug seizure for the year. It was difficult for
The cops to get all of the drugs, so they had to burn it where it was located. You need to know as well some of the cops even got injured trying to retrieve it from the difficult terrain. And also it was over 1400 kilos they collected. So don’t dis the local cop with your white UK racist comments.

Seizure of low grade drugs planned so that we can say what a good job we are doing whilst the high grade drugs pass through the territory without anybody knowing.
Police can’t publish how much they seized until they have decided how much to keep for sale to the Santos in East End.
