MARINA CAY, VI- While the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is yet to make a statement to the public, sources within the Force have confirmed reports to our News Centre that illegal narcotics were retrieved from the shoreline of Marina Cay on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

According to reports, police were notified of packages suspected to contain illegal narcotics on the shoreline of the popular tourist destination.

It is suspected, according to sources, that the illegal substance may have been dumped overboard by smugglers seeking to evade capture.

A video circulating on social media shows ranks of the RVIPF taking the packages found on the island to a police boat.

According to sources, police are still “doing some work surrounding” the discovery, which is why no public statement has been released as yet.

Our News Centre will continue to pursue more details for this story.

Under the new CoP leadership the RVIPF knows better not to give unfinished investigation news to the B.V.I public. Doing can compromised the investigation before completion. It can also hinder progress, and cause some snaky-minded so-called smart people to escape the strap that they have set for others, their intended victims.
