Police seize 'illegal narcotics' on vessel in VI waters

PORT PURCELL, Tortola, VI- Police have reportedly seized a quantity of illegal narcotics on a vessel in Virgin Islands waters.

According to reports, the vessel is named 'C Elizabeth II', although police did not disclose the name.

"As a result of a joint operation, the RVIPF, along with other law enforcement partners, intercepted a vessel last night and recovered a quantity of illegal narcotics," the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated in a press release today, December 9, 2025.

Police said the operation remains a "dynamic investigation", and further information will be provided as it progresses.

    Still waiting for the trial of those officers caught with 2.5 tons of coke. That was five years ago and still nothing? Maybe the largest coke bust in UK history isn't that big of a deal
