Police recover stolen boat; Ammo seized

EAST END, Tortola, VI- A boat reported stolen on August 12, 2023, has been recovered by police, our news centre has been informed.

During the recovery of the stolen boat, ammunition was also allegedly recovered.

The vessel was reportedly intercepted by police on August 13, 2023, while it was being towed in the East End area.

“The RVIPF can confirm a report received on August 12 of a missing boat. The boat has since been found and is in police possession,” the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated today, August 14, 2023.

It is unclear whether any arrests were made.

The RVIP also did not disclose any information on the ammunition found.

    Where was it found? That is plenty ammo. More where that was to be deliveredfor sure. But not signing that document put forth by the Governor limits the efforts for searching and seizure. Deliberate effort by our elected to limit the drug enterprise on these shores.

    I am sorry to say, but if the Police are waiting on information from anyone to solve these crimes, it's not going to happen. We live in a DON'T "snitch" society in 2023, people are NOT going tell on their friends, relatives or anyone else.

    Plus we do not trust the cops

    Why did they posted this incomplete article? Where was the boat stolen from? Who was the original owner? Who did they caught towing the boat? How many ammunition were found? Who did they arrested for stealing the boat?
