Police make cocaine seizure on Tortola

EAST END, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has announced it seized a significant amount of cocaine on Tortola yesterday, October 19, 2021.

"An operation conducted yesterday morning (Tuesday) by officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force on the eastern end of Tortola has resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of cocaine," the RVIPF related in a brief statement this morning, October 20, 2021.

The RVIPF said investigations are active and ongoing with several persons being interviewed in the relation to the seizure.

"Therefore no other information can be released at this time," the RVIPF concluded.
