PURCELL, Tortola, VI- A male has reportedly been taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital, following a stabbing incident in Purcell this morning, August 30, 2022.

The incident reportedly took place in the vicinity of the Purcell basketball court.

Police have confirmed reports of the stabbing.

"Officers of the Criminal Investigation Team are investigating a stabbing incident near the Purcell Basketball Court this morning. As a result, one male is in hospital in stable condition. No further information is available at this time," Police Information Liaison Diane L. Drayton stated.

    Pure trouble in that area. What I can't understand how they allow them to build on the court.

    This harboring people and limits the purpose of the court.

    That's the problem with you people when you don't understand something is pure hot air you let out, compare to then and now the place is way better now than back then and then because one lil incident u criticize, you don't even hear bout those Purcell boys anymore I could remember every minute them in the news for something and not like these want to be boys who tryin to fit in, so if them trying give them a chance don't let one bad apple spoil the rest and make u criticize
