Police allegedly seize 2 handguns @ Belmont residence

BELMONT ESTATE, Tortola, VI- Information just reaching our newsroom from senior sources within the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is that police have recovered two handguns during a search at a residence in Belmont Estate, on Tortola.

According to reports, one of the handguns recovered was loaded.

The discovery reportedly occurred late yesterday afternoon, July 29, 2021.

It is unclear if any arrests have yet been made.

      First of all, learn to spell - it's Belmont!
      Secondly, if you remember correctly last year it was a BVIslander that was the subject of an attempted Police bust in Belmont (he got away that time).
