Poblete secures Final spot for Phillipinas in DYAS Volleyball League

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Phillipinas will be facing Game On in the Final of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports Industrial Volleyball League on Tuesday November 15, 2016, in the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

To reach the Championship Game, the Phillipinas overcame School Them in straight sets, 25-12, 25-18 and 25-17, with Louie E. Poblete named Player of the Game.

Poblete is also known for his abilities in basketball and represented Bayside Blazers and Momentum respectively in the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League.

Game On beat MF Rough Cut, also in straight sets, 25-12, 29-27 and 25-14, with Wayne Robinson Junior named Player of the Game.

The Championship Game will start after the match for 3rd/4th which is scheduled for 7: P.M. on Tuesday November 15, 2016.
