The event, organised by the BVI Tourist Board office in Puerto Rico, was held at the TRYP by Wyndham Isla Verde Hotel. An October 16, 2026, press release from the Tourist Board said agents had the opportunity to meet with representatives of five properties and service providers catering to the luxury market in the VI. 

Participating properties included Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina and Long Bay Beach Resort, along with BVI service providers My Caribbean Charters and Tradewind Aviation.

“We are very pleased with this year’s turnout and to see so many agents interested in learning more about the luxury offering we have in the BVI,” said Ms RaeNisia L. Scatliffe, Regional Marketing Manager at the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission. 

She added that they are also “grateful to the new providers who joined the event this year, expanding the transportation and accommodation options available to Puerto Rican travellers.

The BVI Luxury Summit 2026 agenda included a presentation by the BVI Tourist Board office in Puerto Rico with an overview of the destination and VI travel trends. 

Guests also enjoyed individual presentations by the participating properties and a panel discussion on the experiences, expectations and information clients look for when planning a vacation in the destination.
