SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Traffic heading West out of Sea Cows Bay has been slowed to walking pace due to a vehicular accident at the bottom of the hill in Sea Cows Bay popularly referred to as Elevator Hill.

Information reaching our newsroom is that the accident involved a pickup truck and a car and it occurred sometime before 5:00 PM.

There have been no reports of injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the mishap are unclear to our news centre at this time.

Police are on the scene investigating and redirecting traffic.

    Not to shame the female police officer in the picture, but for health reasons, please work on your weight to get to a healthy size. We need to take care of ourselves and be mindful of what we put in our bodies. This message relates to all of us who are allowing ourselves to eat all the wrong things and too much of it. If it’s because we are dealing with underlying psychological issues, seek help to deal with them. Food is not the cure to depression or others matters stemming from our childhood. Thank me later.

    Numerous accidents at this spot including a fatality - should this not lead to at least a review to prevent future accidents/death?
