VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI – Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) is certainly not letting the presence of COVID-19 in the Virgin Islands (VI) dampen his spirit regarding the festive season.

While the Premier is out spreading Christmas cheers tonight in the First Electoral District, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, he was photographed on a truck alongside the ‘All-Star Band’ singing festive music for residents on Virgin Gorda.

'High Profile' passengers 

Over the course of the week, the festive truck was spotted with some ‘High Profile’ passengers as it traversed various districts and filled the air with festive Fungi music.

Other VI Legislators photographed on the ride included Sixth District Representative, Hon Alvera Maduro-Caines (R6); Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Hon Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) and Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).

Prominent Fungi musician, Leon K. Creque from 'Leon and the Hot Shots' was also spotted on the road as part of the festive excursion.
