Why were the ghuts not cleaned to have free flow of water. Town and low area didn't had to flood if it had proper drainage. Imagine this is just part of the storm and all over closed both main port of entry closed. What if we had a direct hit from the storm. It's not a hurricane just a storm we should not have flood and territory closure.

your points taken but please be aware a storm can bring more rain than a hurricane, especially one as broad in area and slow moving as Phillipe was/is.

hindsight is always 2020 but from way back we have the very same issues

the drainage system needs to come up to speed as it relates to the movement of water from the higher elevations

need bigger drainage systems because water and mud usually flows together and the current system gets blocked up with mud forcing the rain water to flow along the road surfaces as a posed to under the ground especially in heavy rainfall

stop some of those overseas trips then use those dollars and fix our country because what is the purpose of those trips; tell the people the benefits of these meetings:

All this flood damage - and now learning that at least three of the Jet Setting Globetrotters are out of the Territory is downright outrageous.
It’s about time we stop playing Dolly House and begin to move this country forward.

So Mr rhymer instead of converting mains street in to a 2 way street . How bout you create proper drain n raise the roads in the area to prevent this . Instead of those 8 inch pipes they got under the road that's blocked

This has been happening for decades.

Until we invest in proper flood management and drainage it won’t go away.

Plus we live on a small steep sided mountains island
So when it pours it down there is only one way the water will go.

Govt is going to blame the storm, not the fact that poorly designed and clogged guts & drains could have caused all the problems

This is devil's work and it's our time for destruction. All over the World has destruction. The great reset will be that the earth will burn by fire with lasers from the ELITES. Ask yourself why are they letting you useless eater know on the News and you all stay dumb still. They tell you they use lasers for lightning and don't come at me do you damn research and stop calling me names. What am I benefiting from this..only knowledge to the sheeps. Why do you all think the haarp machine is natural? You can clearly understand man made it. Anything that's not from the earth isn't natural. Natural rain don't rain like that because man made umbrellas so how would the biblical people shelter from this. Which one of you all parents in the 80's lived in a house to bare these man made hurricanes now a days. Think just a little because you all are dumb. My mother lived in a coconut tree house as a child and she doesn't remember hurricanes like this. So you all are telling me that throughout the years hurricanes just switch just so without anything causing it to change as the houses structures change Wow idiots. The hurricanes comes like house they update throughout the years LoL. You people can't teach my kids anything only book teaching from the ELITES because they control everything in this devil's Earth. Remember the saying is we're living in hell and that's facts. Anyone's who's alive after agenda 21 see if the weather goes back to the weather in the 1900's because it's destruction time but when it's done they are going to build back better. They are going to even build new humans with The mRNA vaccines which has the Al sh**

Imagine your employer was considering that we came in to work in this weather. And then asking that you work from home not knowing your circumstances (eg. Flooding, no current, no water, dealing with children, dealing with damage). And you're an employee who is at work everyday. No sick days. Some employers mean they going to work you to death. This thought me that employers are ungrateful and they does forget. Will stop stressing out myself because obviously he aint stressing about us.
