CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI – The male taken into custody after officers uncovered over 500 kilograms of cocaine in his taxi in Cane Garden Bay on Saturday, March 6, 2021, has been charged.

Paul Hodge, 39, of Cane Garden Bay was charged with possession of a control drug with intent to supply some 18 duffle bags of the control drug, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated in a press release today, March 8, 2021.

It said among the other items confiscated from the vehicle were cash and documents.

A subsequent search was carried out on his home, police said.

Sources close to the operation had told our newsroom that the individual arrested was approached while at a gas station in Cane Garden Bay.

War waged on drugs- CoP

In the relation to the drug find, Commissioner of Police Michael B. Matthews noted that the fight continues to be waged by officers of the RVIPF against those who are trafficking illicit drugs.

“We remain committed to the battle to make it difficult for those who want to use the Territory as a transhipment point for illicit drugs. It is a war that we must continue to wage and win, in order to maintain our enjoyed level of security and safety both in our waters and on land. There can be no compromise, no middle ground,” he said.

Seriously? A 39 year old man is not a youth. A 39 year old man is an adult who made his own choices and must face the consequence of his actions.

Young man. So young you can see the milk in his face may have tossed his life away in the name and sake for the love of money “ A lot of young people believe this life is actually a life but it’s not. It’s just for a time and moment. Ask Pablo Escobar. Stress and worries is all it brings. The things bought with money only for a moment.

Young lady. Up and down posting how them LIT. Turn Up. But lit and turned up with drug money vs hard honest working money. Once you messing with the devil garage “there’s no happy ending “

Then there are people who are bragging that they have one life to live so do what you please and live for you but either don’t know or could care less to live in obedience to Almighty God doing God’s will so that after death they may have eternal life.

Romans 8:6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

You see social media posts talking about being blessed all while skinning out, defiling their bodies, entertaining the ways of the world. Chanting the No weapon formed ...if God be for me ...and other verses can’t help anyone who isn’t obedient to God’s commands conveniently forgetting the verse: depart from me I know you not.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

@284: I have no sympathy for those who entangle themselves in crime. They could rot in jail for the rest of their lives for all I care. They are all menace to society. All of them need to be thought a lesson. Work had for what you want and live within your means.

The cops probably planted that after they drove his taxi bus out the yard rather than having it escorted on a wrecker like they should have. Am sure nobody but the cops saw the so called drugs when they searched.

He was on the watch list for a while.Just so happen, that day was the right time to make the move on him. This is not his first RODEO. There are a few more on the watch list. In the intel world, there is eyes and ears everywhere. It is not about being a fly on the wall, it is about being ears on the wall.

They paying 360k per month to stop money from coming to the treasury look how much money they used to find or seized on boats etc when there was no patrolling. We need to stop the 360k a month and let the money come in so the marine police can seize it for the treasury.
