Paul A. Hewlett named Acting Director of Youth Affairs & Sports

According to this news sources within the ruling National Democratic Party Mr. Paul A. Hewlett has been named acting Director of the Department effective last week.
It is unclear how long Mr. Hewlett will be acting or if his acting appointment had gone through the Public Service Commission or an internal arrangement via his Ministry. However, it is left to be seen whether the Minister for the Portfolio the controversial Minister for Education and Culture Hon. Myron V. Walwyn will push for his confirmation. Under the 2007 Constitution a Head of Department cannot be appointed without the support of the subject Minister.
When contacted today October 31, 2014 Mr. Hewlett promised to return a call to this news site as he was driving at the time. However up to post time no call was received.
