ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Some persistent humidity and instability in the region could trigger some passing rain in the Virgin Islands today, Sunday, July 9, 2023, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has stated.

DDM noted; however, that a more stable atmosphere developing over the region this afternoon and overnight will limit rain activity.

Weather today: Cloudy with a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers during the morning; then partly sunny with a 30 percent or little chance of showers in the afternoon.

Weather tonight: Partly Cloudy with a 30 percent or no chance of showers.
Winds: East 22 to 33 km/h or 14 to 21 mph with gusts near 52 km/h or 32 mph.
Seas: 1 to 1.8 meters or 3 to 6 feet.

Sunset today 6:59 pm.
