HORSE PATH, Tortola, VI– P3 Paper Plastic Products Inc. (P3), a Virgin Islands-owned business, has reached a significant milestone in its international journey as the company celebrates six successful years of operations in Thailand.

This achievement marks P3 as the first Virgin Islands-headquartered wholesale company to expand into the Southeast Asian market.

Founded in the Virgin Islands over a decade ago, P3 entered Thailand in 2019 with the launch of its Koh Samui branch. In 2023, P3 further expanded by establishing a second warehouse hub in Phuket to serve Thailand’s vibrant food and hospitality sectors.

'It’s a huge achievement'

Speaking about this milestone, Sinclair H. Flemming, CEO of P3 Paper Plastic Products Inc., stated,  “We’re incredibly proud. This isn’t just a business anniversary—it’s a living example of what’s possible when Caribbean entrepreneurs pursue global growth with focus and resilience. We entered Thailand with a vision, and six years later, we’re operating in two key markets, serving customers across Asia and the Middle East. It’s a huge achievement for a 100% Virgin Islands-owned company.”

This milestone positions P3 as a trailblazer in the Caribbean business landscape, becoming the first company of its kind from the Virgin Islands to establish a brick-and-mortar wholesale operation in Asia.

Flemming added, “It confirms that P3 is ready for the next level. Six years in Thailand shows that we can compete and scale internationally, while staying true to our values of integrity, consistency, and service. For our brand, this milestone is a platform—it tells the world we’re not just regional players anymore. We’re building a brand that Caribbean people can be proud of, with systems, logistics, and relationships to support global expansion.”

'We’re changing mindsets'- P3 CEO

P3 has made a significant impact in Thailand.

Flemming noted, “We’ve provided reliable supply to over 300 hotels, restaurants, and distributors across Thailand. We’ve hired local staff, opened two distribution centres, and brought biodegradable product alternatives into markets that needed more sustainable options. And beyond that, we’ve proven that a small island company can move product at scale in Asia. We’re changing mindsets—showing that Caribbean firms can do business internationally with confidence.”

With a core focus on food-service disposables, janitorial supplies, and biodegradable packaging, P3 Thailand actively supports the growing needs of resorts, hotels, restaurants, and supermarkets in Southeast Asia.

The CEO also mentioned, “Yes. We’re currently planning strategic expansion into three additional Caribbean countries, as well as continuing our Miami operations, where we’ve already begun pilot activity. In 2026, we’ll be opening up investment opportunities for equity participation in these new operations. We’re looking for strategic investors who believe in Caribbean innovation, global logistics, and real-world profitability—not just concept businesses. This next phase is about scaling smart and inviting partners to grow with us.”

From its state-of-the-art distribution centres in Koh Samui and Phuket, P3 Thailand serves a wide range of clients, including hotels and distributors in Singapore, Kuwait, and Dubai. The company has created jobs, fostered cross-cultural collaboration, and proven that businesses originating in the Caribbean can thrive on a global scale.

Okay so you have proven once again that ignorance is bliss, but how can it be when the article is right there in front of you and just requires you to read. There is p3 in the BVI were locals are employed. The article clearly states that he wanted to scale internationally. READ....READ...READ!

They already have an established market here. Expand it how? There is no scale to the BVI market. 30, 000 people cannot offer any market of scale to expand into. One of those outlets in Thailand is probably serving a population 100 times that of the BVI. We are so focused on micromanaging the population of the BVI that we do not see the benefits that a larger population bring in creating a workable economy. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that we must allowed ourselves to be overrun by outsiders, but we can grow our population in a strategic way that ensure we have people with the necessary skills for nation building while growing the population and ensuring a vibrant market economy.

I did not know this. Congrats to P3! I don't think people here realise how hard it is to grow a business beyond the BVI.

Hey, I can only imagine, but I can tell you I am still convinced that the BVI is the hardest place to grow a business as a BVIslander. Our people ain't easy. Some in Government offices will give you hell along with the odious hatred we have for each other. Innately, we never want to see each other do well. Always ready to tear down and backbite our own.

But, Congratulations to this young man which goes to show you can make it through hard work.

Nice. I think this is great. Reciprocity, as BVIslanders are having a hard time getting entry level jobs here in their own home. So seeing a BVIslander making money in Thailand, Singapore, etc. Please ensure you take some Virgin Islanders over there to work in thos businesses, at least ten of them. That seems the right number. Find them a place to live close to your business and give them work there. Loving this. I keep saying not one Virgin Islander has a business in the Caribbean, Phillipines nor the UK and making a dime this way, but this little gold mine that we are sitting in, they are all welcome and once they ask, they receive. This is done even sight unseen. So happy to hear this news. I want to open a boutique in St. Kitts close to the cruise pier. Who is going to help me? Virgin Islands businesses overseas loading. Novel idea but lovely.
