Over 70 archers; $15K in scholarships @ 2026 NASP Nationals on Sunday

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- More than 70 student archers from elementary, middle, and high schools across the Territory will compete in the thrilling Bullseye competition and the exciting 3D challenge when the 2026 National Archery in the Schools (NASP) Nationals are held on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

The student archers will be competing at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in the Bullseye Competition and at the AO Shirley Recreation Ground for the 3D Challenge.

An opening ceremony will be held at 9:00 AM at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex before arrows take flight.

$15k in scholarships

Approximately $15,000 in scholarships will be available this year.

With over 70 archers registered to participate, the number exceeds that (over 40) of last year, indicating the continued growth of the sport at the youth level.

The 2026 NASP Nationals is being held in collaboration with the Virgin Islands Field Archery Federation (VIFAF).

Sponsors include Kobre & Kim, Caribbean Security Limited, and the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports.
