Opposition Leader joins Premier Wheatley for OECS meeting in SVG

According to a post on the government’s official Facebook page, the VI’s presence at the meeting in St Vincent and the Grenadines highlighted the Territory’s ongoing commitment to regional integration.
The high-level forum provided a platform for OECS leaders to deliberate on key regional priorities, strengthen integration, and advance sustainable development across member states.
The VI delegation also attended the 77th Meeting of the OECS Authority, where Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Honourable Philip J. Pierre, handed over the Chairmanship of the OECS Authority to Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr the Honourable Ralph E. Gonsalves.
Long-time critic of gov’t travel
Hon Walwyn has been a harsh critic of the Dr Wheatley-led government, recently successfully having the motion of no confidence brought back to the Order Paper of the latest sitting of the House of Assembly.
He has also called on Governor Daniel Pruce to investigate the circumstances surrounding the $5 million deposit of public funds into the now defunct Bank of Asia (BVI) Limited. He has received pushback from his own Opposition colleague, Hon Marlon A. Penn (R8), who believes the governor should not get involved, since the VI must allow its systems to work.
The Opposition Leader and other members of the Opposition have all questioned the number of overseas trips that government ministers undertake.

He is going to come back with some great story on why he was there! Wait for it!
what are we gaining from all of the travel to divers parts of the world
you can now google BVI and learn all about our history so what are benefits spending tax money on travel
Have nothing against the travel however our country needs some serious infrastructural repairs
We have little or no street water: unstable electricity: public road fill with potholes and that beat goes on(tell the people the cost of these trips)
Fix the "£$&5 the territory and once all is well use our tax money to peruse the globe
Walwyn nor any politician never said you cannot travel, however some of them are a bit excessive. Myron is leader of the opposition so he will have some travel, he is also aspiring to be the next premier and he is very good at networking. The Premier knows who he needs to have with him for the type of trip.
