Only 1 person remains hospitalised due to COVID-19 in VI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Government of the Virgin Islands is reporting that only one person remains hospitalised at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital due to COVID-19.

This likely means that some 6 persons have been discharged since the last update of September 3, 2021, when 7 persons were hospitalised.

50 active cases

According to the Territory’s Epidemiological Summary of September 8, 2021, there are now some 2,555 recoveries from COVID-19, 18 of which were since the previous update.

The territory is recording 50 active cases of COVID-19.

40 of the cases are on Tortola, 8 on Virgin Gorda and 2 on Jost van Dyke.

    Likely means is not confirmation that they were discharged. they could likely be dead.

    Can't some of us see that help has been given to patients tested positive, that were hospitalised with covid-19 virus? Why then doubt facts in favour of random speculations, and groundless opinions? Don't some of us know that all unproven belief void of proof is equal also to belief that a ground lizard can pilot a jet passenger plane from Tortola to London crash free?

    All of a sudden nobody is dying compare to those that was in there before and died very much interested
