Online registration opens for unemployed youths

During registration, you will be providing your names along with pertinent information including education level and skills.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Ministry of Education and Culture is inviting unemployed youth between the ages of 18 to 30 years to register online with the Youth Unemployment Register (YUR) at “www.yur.vg” by Monday, December 12.

Additionally, persons can also apply in person by visiting the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports on second floor of the Ward Building on Wickham’s Cay 1 between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During registration, you will be providing your names along with pertinent information including education level and skills.

The Youth Unemployment Register (YUR) will help Government assess the status of disadvantaged and unemployed youth and serve as a medium to support young workers while integrating youth into the labour market.

Persons requiring more information may contact the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports at 468-3701 ext. 5113 or the Ministry of Education and Culture at 468-3701 ext. 2151.

    Look at this, amoung others the late Hon. H.L. Stoutt said "where there's no vision the people will perish". You mean to tell me Hon. Walwyn was elected to do the Labour Commissioners' work. Not because she from East End, Hon. Pickering you asked for and you got it. You spoke on behalf of the Hon. Premier where you said changes would be made, talk is cheap, we of the BVI is watching. Those changes needs to be made now, as the old saying goes "nip the bud while it's young.
