ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Finals of the Industrial Volleyball League organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) will be played this evening, Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town, Tortola.

Prior to the championship games; however, the third place games will be played from 6:30 PM.

SDA Family Matters vs Suzuki Marines

Playing for its first title from 7:30 PM will be the undefeated SDA Family Matters, who will come up against Suzuki Marines in Zone B.

The SDA Family Matters reached the final at the expense of RTW Blazers in the playoffs on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, winning 25-18, 25-20.

SDA Family Matters will be relying on the likes of Zebalon A. McLean, Delison Thompson, Reuben Stoby, and Yucari Brewley to come good for them.

Suzuki Marines, who defeated One Mart Superstore 25-9, 25-15 in the playoffs, will look to come strong with the likes of Fitzroy Randall, Dino Jacinto, Teresita Infante aka 'Terry', Jevon Davis, and Francis DeCastro.

One Mart Yachting vs Game On

The Zone A Championship match from 8:30 PM will be between One Mart Yachting & Provisioning and Game On.

One Mart Yachting & Provisioning earned their spot in the final by defeating Harneys Hittas 25-22, 25-20 in the semi-finals on Tuesday last.

Game On, consisting of the powerful hitter Valissa Brathwaite, eliminated the exciting Republic Bank Blue Thunder, 25-19-, 25-23, also on Tuesday last.

Third Place Games

The third-place games from 6:30 PM today will see RTW Blazers against One Mart Superstore and Harneys Hittas against Republic Bank Blue Thunder.
