SOPHIE BAY, Tortola, VI- At least one person was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital with injuries, following a vehicular accident at Sophie Bay Hill on Tortola this morning, Monday, May 18, 2026.

According to reports, the accident involved two pickup trucks and occurred around 6:00 AM.

Ambulance, police, and fire and rescue services were called to the scene.

More details will be provided as they come in.

    A well rested, sober person, paying due care and attention whilst driving the speed limit in a well maintained vehicle, could not have managed that.
