What type of consulting was being offered to the Premier because he doesn't seem to have been guided effectively? We need transparency due to lack of transformation.

@hogcity. Yes that’s true and that’s cool but at least we should get value for money. You see anything this man do for the territory to remember, or any changes happen with all the big jobs he had ? The place gone crazy. We all know the solution but we shame.

It is hilarious sometimes to read some of the blogs on this site. It seems to me that there is nothing good happening in this country. Too often people are destroying people's character with the negative things that they said. We are quick to forget that Hon. Primer had hired a Chief executive officer for the Resource and Development Agency and was offered a salary of over $300.000.00 salary annually. That was marvelous because he was a white foreigner, and NO ONE said anything about that at the time. WE must try to shower praise for the territory and its people because there are other countries that would like to enjoy the blessings we have here.

You don't hear the Philippines nationals, or the Spanish nationals complaining like our local Pepple. It is time for us to move forward and work to develop this Territory and stop the complaining. If we have any dissatisfaction, we will solve them at the poll.

This chap hops around more than a grasshopper, exhibiting chameleon behavior . In the world/universe of politics, some equates this grasshopping as political prosti……n. Clearly, OJ is not breaking any laws or doing anything wrong; he is making a living as he is entitled too. Nevertheless, his grasshopping is rather interesting and may be contributing to much neck injuries. Soberly, OJ was a consultant to the Premier. What return has the people gotten from this investment ? And I will leave it there with that question..

All we are good for is character assassination . Are we on the inside to know what is taking place ? Ask the persons in the Premier’s office what all he did ?
Do you know the Premier to be a person who listens to anyone but himself? That is why the territory is a disaster.Let us see what his new ‘ chief advisor” will do.
OJ was right to make his escape.

For you all that don't understand CONSULTANCY it simply means you're politically connected and will be paid well to do absolutely nothing. Similar to the contracts Andrew gave to C Skelton-Crime.

What is Kevin Smith aka OJ expertise? What skills does he bring to the table? Is he a management science expert? Is he an electrical engineer? Is he a mechanical engineer? Is he an electronics engineer? Is he a technologist? IMO to be an effective technical consultant for the BVIEC, one would need to have knowledge and experience in a) power generation, b)power transmission system distribution, c) system operation, maintenance and repair experience? Will OJ’s consultancy contract with BVIEC include how to lower operational cost without cutting the level of service? Will it include how to improve and expand the level service? Is OJ a Peter Principle project?? Does job hopping eventually becomes a liability, especially in a small, non-diversified economy? What is the value, if any, of stability? Are some employers averse to instability??
