The Healthcare Transformation and Leadership Development Workshop was facilitated by Healthcare Transformation Solutions (HTS) for Nurse Managers, Nursing Supervisors, and Charge Nurses, from June 22 to 24, 2026. 

HTS is a clinician-founded consultancy serving healthcare systems and ministries across the Caribbean, operationalising strategy where strategy actually has to work — at the unit level, on the shift that matters, measured by metrics that hold.

It was founded by a registered nurse with deep Caribbean healthcare knowledge and an active clinical career across multiple hospitals in the United States.

Empowering our nurses

BVIHSA in a statement said, “Through strategic partnerships and continuous professional development, we are empowering our nursing leaders to drive innovation, quality improvement, and positive patient outcomes across our healthcare system. Together, we are building a healthier Virgin Islands.”

The training helped these nurse leaders to define the problems within their units; measure what success looks like; and analyse and improve. 

The workshop was held following the BVIHSA joining in celebrating International Nurses Week from May6 to 12, 2026, under the theme ‘Empowered Nurses Save Lives’. 

“Every day, our nurses lead with excellence, delivering care that is skilled, compassionate, and impactful,” the BVIHSA said in celebrating Nurses Week.
