“The countdown is on!” BVI Finance said in announcing the opening of nominations. 

The BVI Financial Services Awards celebrate the outstanding individuals, firms and organisations that continue to drive excellence across the jurisdiction’s financial services industry. From legal and corporate services to compliance, banking, insurance, investment funds and fintech, the Awards recognise the expertise, innovation, leadership and dedication that reinforce the Virgin Islands’ (VI) reputation as a world-class international financial centre.

BVI Finance said that as the industry continues to evolve, the awards provide an opportunity to recognise those who are setting the standards, delivering exceptional service, advancing innovation and contributing to the continued success of the VI’s financial services sector.

Sixteen awards were handed out during the 2025 Financial Services Awards on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

This year’s awards will recognise excellence across 15 categories: Asset Recovery/Insolvency Practice of the Year, Association of the Year, Audit/Accounting Practice of the Year, Bank of the Year, Best Corporate Social Responsibility, Compliance Officer of the Year, Corporate Services Provider of the Year, Fintech Firm of the Year, Innovative Firm of the Year, Insurance Services Provider of the Year, Investment/Funds Practice of the Year, Law Firm of the Year, Lawyer of the Year, Regulator/Competent Authority of the Year, and Rising Star Award.

BVI Finance is urging persons who know an individual, firm or organisation deserving of recognition to take this opportunity to celebrate the people and institutions helping to make the VI a global leader in financial services.
