Nine arrested & questioned over HM Prison stabbing death


The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a release today, June 17, 2021, indicated that four other inmates were also injured during the stabbing incident.
Officers of the RVIPF's Major Crime Team say investigations are ongoing into the death of Chambers after he succumbed to his wounds.
All other injured inmates taken to the hospital have since been released.
The now dead Chambers was sentenced in the High Court on July 12, 2019, to spend 10 years in prison for possession of a firearm and attempted murder.
Police say charges have not yet been laid in relation to the prison killing.

Street code means you cannot say what you know to the authorities since you would create enemies and have no where to turn in that prison!
All be it, if the culprit is not held accountable this behavior will be encouraged to be repeated!! And soon enough more frequent stabbing and death will occur!
