Service needed but needs to be revamped. Employers need to face penalty for not paying monies deducted from staff salaries and for late payments causing said staff to much problems.

The service cost to see a doctor should be set by nhi, no private hospital should be able to charge more than the public hospital, but I.know nhi ain't got the balls to implement that!!!

NHI working. Its a good thing..Just the Private greedy unconscionable Health care providers finding ways to rip it off..Hence it needs restructuring, stop the over pricing, close the loop holes that feeding the greed...NHI will then be excellent..

Could someone explain the logic of doing an operation at Bougainville, and then you are sent to the public hospital for recovery.

There is no explanation for that, not to mention Bougainvillea is paid in full and the hospital gets nothing or peanuts. I will put it down to the management of the hospital. They should not allow this, even follow up care Bougainvillea isn't interested in doing, but they bill through the roof.

As residents of the BVI our focus should be taking better care of our own health, "Your health your responsibility. See your doctor even every quarter to ensure nothing surprises you. NHI would work with more healthier residents. Find a doctor and stay with that doctor.

10 years of stressing people out and watching them be denied for care that would improve their life. 10 years of mismanaging people's health care while they go bankrupt trying to restore their health. 10 years of people with no medical degrees passing judgement on people's lives. NHI to me means " No Hurry It's" not important!
