POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI - While some residents, motorists, and tourists passing by or using the R&R Malone Complex may be curious as to why one of the main buildings at the entrance to the property is under construction, our roving news team have gathered some information.

It is our understanding that a new restaurant, lounge, and ‘grill out’ will reportedly be coming soon to the building now under active construction.

Sources told our news center that the owners are two prominent local businessmen, but both the contractors working on site and R&R Malone Management are tight-lipped as to who those owners are.

However, it is our understanding that the facility will be named ‘Another Level’ and will feature a high-scale restaurant where residents should be dressed to enter, about two VIP rooms and a place outside called a ‘grill out’ where you can get all your meats from your lobster, fish, pork to chicken.

Food & drinks until morning

Corporate VI or ordinary residents can book the new restaurant and lounge for meetings, weddings, and other functions. The business will also reportedly offer services for late nights with food, snacks, and drinks available until early in the mornings.

The restaurant will also provide lunch and dinner, and customers can book business breakfasts.

On inquiry, someone with knowledge of the project said the works on the building will not be ready until next year and it is believed the local unnamed owners are hoping for a grand Valentine’s 2024 opening.

Our newsroom will bring more details as they become available.

The incinerator ruins any business must-less a restaurant or intended high scale restaurant in the area.

The hazardous stink garbage, smoke, and fire would overtake any aromas of a restaurant.

Another level sound good, but upscale, vip, cannot be for same building of which you speak, with burning trash across the streat. Sincerely hope that is not the fire they plan to use for the grill. Good luck to the owners, they are going to need it. The aesthetics of the sourroundings are not condusive to upscale.

The part that is here is to fix an INCINERATOR. Do you know what an incinerator is? Lol the burning will continue but instead of on the hills it will be in the building even closer to said restaurant.

It is like opening a restaurant next to a sewage treatment plant. The yes sir and kiss A.. ones don’t seem to have a problem with it. Whose bright idea was it to come up with this plan. One set of slow non thinking people in this place. Fine dining next to a toxic open burning dump. No wonder we are the laughing stocks to the outside world.

So let me see if I understand this- we are opening an upscale spot across from a open pit trash dump, concrete plant, rock quarry and a high emissions power station? Bon appetite.

That whole area is flyover country - there's a reason why 5 Girls packed up shop. Not sure who would want to stop there for an "upscale" experience next to probably the two worst places in the BVI - the burning dump and the DMV.

But zoning and planning has never been anyone's strong suit in this territory, so can we really say we're surprised anymore?

However, I will not patronize any restaurant that is near or in the vicinity of a burning garbage dump. Upscale? certainly not.

No one is hating jungle boy or girl. Why would anyone hate on someone(s) building an upscale restaurant steps from a garbage dump. They need to be real and say they are going to develop the area and who is involved in the development of the area.

RESIDENTS SHOULD BE DRESSED TO ENTER ABOUT TWO VIP AKA VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE ROOMS. CUSTOMERS CAN BOOK BUSINESS BREAKFAST MEETINGS. IS VALET PARKING AVAILABLE AS WELL? THAT TELLS YOU WHAT TYPE OF CLIENTELE THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. SEEMS LIKE IT IS NOT FOR THE LOWER GRADE CLIENTELE. ANY WHO, I WISH THEM THE BEST.

It is not gear or set up for the lower class so don’t go there in jeans, t shirts, flip flops, shorts and sneakers and expect to get in. HEARD IT IS GOING TO BE FOR THE BVI ELITE AND WHO HAVE MONEY. Yeah Fat boy, you are out of the game for sure they are going to slide you out of the game. Again, they are going to develop that area. Watch how fast the problems at the dump will be fixed to accommodate the fine dining restaurant.

Upscale can't be in the same place with that surrounding area of concrete dust, and garbage dump. I salute the owners for trying to move this forward but I know luxury and Upscale restaurants. Location plays a big role.
