ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) is officially accepting tenders for upgrades at the Road Town Clinic.

The scope of work includes improvements to both lobbies, construction of a new elevator shaft, exterior cleaning and painting of the east wing, and the installation of updated signage.

According to the RDA, Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital and Annex are critical healthcare facilities in the Virgin Islands, but since their completion in 2014, maintenance has been limited, resulting in deterioration of roofing systems, guttering, and lightning protection infrastructure.

It said the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) is undertaking capital repairs to restore these essential systems to extend service life, improve safety, and minimise risk to hospital operations.

Feb 10, 2026, is tender submission deadline

The RDA said the procurement method will be conducted through the National (Domestic) Competitive Bidding (NCB) process.

The full tender package, including the detailed scope of works and other supporting document,s may be obtained by sending a request to procurement@bvirecovery.vg.

The tender submission deadline is Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

A Bidder’s Conference and Site Visit is proposed to be held at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

So much unused space, Yet they paying big rent to rich people....Make this make sense. Well kinda a understand, when a rich man invest in a political party campaign and that party won, he has to get something in return, sometimes so much of tax payers money for no good reason...
