Why on Earth would residents of this Territory need such an app? That is for places where it's not the norm to see potholes and stray animals. I hope no money was involved in this because it makes no sense for the BVI.

They better prepare for that app to be full of complaints 24/7. And if they are going to solve these issues whenever they feel like it, it's just a waste of time at this point.

That's your opinion because it's working pretty....nobody like to see change and what comes with negative thinking, common sense could have told you. In order for something to work, we have to get it a try. i don't blame those fools for posting negatives that's why they are where they at alone.

This is a great initiative. A lot of locales invest in are proud of the latest electronic facility management gizmos, including facility management programs with dash boards that top management can view instantaneously. Some go to the extent of setting maximum response times for reported problems. But invariably, the program crash and burn due to poor planning, staffing, training, funding, and poor program oversight execution. Hopefully this programme meets and exceeds expectations.

is not the reporting it's the actual proper repair. The current system appears to be nothing is done until 100+ reports are verified, then some DPW employee actually drives by the fault/leak/hole and confirms its existence to upper management. Then after another 100+ reports a repair team is dispatched to the fault and some simple yet inadequate 'temporary' repair is performed that lasts a week to maybe a month. The whole process repeats when the temporary repair fails so the fault is never correctly repaired until the next election.

I think this is a great idea. Why are people being so negative? Nothing beats a trial but a failure, so at least try it. If it works, super! If it doesn't, move on!
