Nevin Brathwaite seriously hurt after motorcycle accident

HODGES CREEK, Tortola, VI - Close relatives of Mr Nevin Brathwaite of Hodges Creek have confirmed that he is currently receiving urgent medical attention overseas following his involvement in an accident yesterday afternoon July 24, 2014.

According to several close relatives who all asked not to be named, Brathwaite apparently collided with a truck close to his Hodge's Creek home late yesterday.

According to reports the man's condition is listed a very serious as he currently has no feelings in either of his legs but is responsive being able to communicate verbally to some extent.

Informed and reliable sources say that among the close family with him currently at a Jamaica hospital is his mother.

This news site awaits further information from Public Relations Officer of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Ms Diane Drayton.

      It's not the motor bikes, it's what the riders and motorists do with them. Not coming to any judgment on how the accident occurred but wish this wonderful and respectable young man a speedy recovery and the best of wishes.

      Oh don't blame the motor cycles blame the riders. Who don't hear will always feel. Those young guts always up and down on those motor cycles doing crap so what will anyone expect

      Newsflash. Some of them ARE banned but bike enthusiasts still find a way to bring them in or upgrade the ones already here. Don't know what he was driving... just wanted to respond to this comment.

    Loving the blogs n do wish him a speedily recovery as I kno he is well known n respectable young man. But why these blogs killing me along wid mines had it been one of those ruthless disrespecting no regards for life or law young boy/men we would have seen some terrible blocks lashing back out of discus for riders n their bikes.

    strpz! i dont think the bikes should be banned...we have car accidents everyday..will yu banned vehicles too? pedal bikes? walking perhaps? lol smh ppl...accidents happen. The most we could do is educate the motorist on how to be safe and hope & pray that the injuried will recover quickly! Cuzo i know you strong so please pull through!
