‘NDP will not put wool over our eyes’- Claude O. Skelton-Cline
During the "Honestly Speaking" programme on March 24, 2026, Skelton-Cline stated, "What is curious, though, the NDP is coming back together, but, you know, what's amazing? They haven't decided yet who the leader of the opposition is going to be."
He expressed confusion regarding whether the current Opposition Leader, Hon Myron V. Walwyn (R6), will continue in that role.
"Are you gonna have one person who is the chair or not the chair continue to be the Leader of the Opposition, or are you going to switch them out?" He asked.
'Constitutional review still pending.'
The social commentator also highlighted that the constitutional review is still pending.
"We have this constitutional review thing pending, yet they are back together again. You think that you could pull a wool over the people's eyes?"
He added, "We are not tolerating any nonsense from any politicians. We are getting less than we deserve, and we're gonna make some changes, and I'm gonna help to meet it."
As previously reported by VINO, Pastor Skelton-Cline has revealed a potential list for the NDP for the next general elections, stating that the NDP family is back together.
Members of the National Democratic Party have made efforts in the past to remove the sitting Leader of the Opposition, Hon Myron V. Walwyn, but were not successful.
