‘NDP has governed under cover of darkness’- Charmaine R. Rosan-Bunbury

Those were the words of Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Territorial At Large candidate Charmaine R. Rosan- Bunbury during her address to persons at the campaign launch of VIP Ninth District Candidate Mr Elton L. Sprauve aka ‘All Out’ in Virgin Gorda on May 11, 2015.
Throwing fire on the heads of the National Democratic Party (NDP) administration, Mrs Rosan-Bunbury said the level of dishonesty and wickedness in the current Administration is the worst ever seen in her lifetime, noting that the party lacks spiritual and intellectual guidance on critical issues that are fundamental to the fabric of the Virgin Islands society.
A grim VI under NDP
The former magistrate lamented that the economic weather forecast for the future of the Virgin Islands looks grim under an NDP Government as unemployment is on the rise, cost of living only knows one direction – up, businesses are closing, those with other options are relocating to other jurisdictions with better economic conditions and others are downsizing by firing employees because they cannot pay them.
“Foreclosures of properties are the highest they have been in the history of the BVI. If we want to continue to be able to say that we are proud BVIslanders, that we own our land, we cannot afford to vote back in the NDP. They have failed to address this issue for the people of the BVI. They took 16 million from our Social Security. What are they doing with it? What is their priority? Certainly not the people of the BVI. Fixing roads is useful but is it a priority when people are hungry and on the brink of homelessness?”
She also said crime, youth delinquency and functional illiteracy are rampant, political discrimination and marginalisation of public servants are out of control while there is political infiltration in the judiciary.
“I urge you all to put on the full armour of God, stand firm as we proceed on our journey to take back our country from evil forces. The power to make our world better comes not by merely knowing that we know a state of self-conscious, but by doing what is right for all concerned, a state of conscientiousness,” she added.
Stop them before it’s too late
Not holding back anything, the newcomer At Large candidate said there is rampant corruption, cronyism, pilfering, plundering and indiscriminate squandering of the territory’s resources by the NDP and it has to stop.
“The indiscriminate abuse of power by this administration has to stop. When a government refuses to adhere to the institution of good governance, the country is in crises. The adherence to the rule of law is critical to our democracy, fundamental human rights and the development as a civil society. The actions of this government are depressing and we have to stop them before it is too late.”
The other At Large candidates on the Virgin Islands Party slate are Dr Karl Dawson, Irene F. Penn-O’Neal and Sharie B. de Castro.

And don't forget Irene have a court case against her.
Can you imagine a BVI with Fraser as Premier and Rosan as a Minister? Scary. NDP ship sailing strong and steady. VIP ship still bailing water.

Let me set the record straight, there is a lot of BS talk about Mrs. Bunbury handling of the magistracy, Mrs. Bunbury sat as a magistrate for close to four years and her record on the bench is outstanding, of the thousand of cases she presided over, to the best of my knowledge only two decision was ever over turn in the appeal court, this speak volumes about her judgment, she is sound on the law, sound on logic and sound on point, she has a judgment you can thrust.
My vote is coming.
While Dr. Olando is a good man, and doctor, he would do well to abandon this shipwreck and save himself his good name and lasting legacy. Who among us can say that the lady lied when she said that the NDP promised us "Government in the sunshine"?
Who among us will agree that Mr. Guy Hill, a very talented man in the field of Immigration was given a fair chance as
Chief Immigration Officer; barely lasting a year?.
Who can deny to mistreatment of the several Accountants General in the names of Mrs Carid Frazr, Ms Anna Rabsatt, Mrs Sandra Besson and others?
Does anyone believe that the Governor's not permitting a "Commission of Inquiry" in the Pier Park debacle free of
the damning findings of the Auditor General and the PAC?
Does anyone believe that the premature closing down of the government truly Dr. Olando's own decision and that he has a clear conscience about it?. His good friend Rudy George at Jost Van Dyk is calling on Dr. Olando to "Please explain why he closed down the government so prematurely and haphazardly. Does anyone believe he will answer Rudy's call?
It is quite troubling that many of our people can turn a blind eye at these acts of Anti-Democracy upon our people; all because of some preferential treatment or cronyism.
It is also unbelievable that these acts against our people can long endure, or endure ad indefinitely.
We are Admonished to :"Pray without ceasing". May we so do...
say it louder...louder! Ok then I hear you now; NDP will go!! BAM
I can't stand ndp they too wicked
