NANNY CAY, VI - Nanny Cay has become the first boatyard in the region to have its entire Operations Team trained to the Brownell quality and safety standard.

On Friday, May 23, 2025, 15 members of Nanny Cay's Boatyard Operations, Office and Management Team were certified to Brownell's Boat Blocking and Storage Safety Training.

Brownell is the leading manufacturer of Boat Stands and storage equipment for boats, and Nanny Cay's preferred supplier.

According to Nanny Cay in a Facebook post on May 26, 2025, Brownell's proprietary, online safety training curriculum was delivered in-person by Holt Maritime to the Operations Team: including 2 classroom sessions and a live-action practical at Nanny Cay's Boatyard.

It said Nanny Cay becomes the first boatyard in the region to have its entire Operations Team trained to the Brownell quality and safety standard, with support and encouragement from the manufacturer throughout the process.
