ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI—Police are investigating multiple robberies reported at separate business establishments in the Duff’s Bottom area on Friday evening, October 23, 2026.

In a statement, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said officers responded to the reports on Friday evening; however, investigations remain in their preliminary stages, and police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incidents.

No further details, including the names of the businesses affected, the number of suspects involved, or whether anyone was injured, have been released by the Police Information Office.

Remain vigilant

The RVIPF is urging the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police. The police force said it will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

The reported robberies come amid ongoing concern over a recent string of robberies targeting businesses across Tortola. Police had previously increased targeted patrols following several incidents, and have encouraged businesses to maintain functioning CCTV systems, avoid displaying large amounts of cash, and promptly report suspicious activity.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police. The RVIPF's Intelligence Unit can be contacted at 368-9593.

Is there an event coming up? Besides Christmas holidays? Seems like once an event is coming up stuff like this happens. Also like Gun crime involvements- Until someone from the popular club get robbed don’t expect any out cry.
