Motorist urged to exercise caution in Free Bottom & Port Purcell area

FREE BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Motorists in the Virgin Islands (VI) are being urged to exercise caution in a number of areas in the coming days, as a number of works will commence in those areas.

Motorists are being notified that drainage works will commence in the Free Bottom area in the vicinity of Qwomar Trading Limited & Pharmacy.

Works are expected to be carried out over the next few days to clear and repair the existing system to ensure that it works more efficiently.

Motorists are asked to traverse the area with caution.

Meanwhile, the public is also being notified that a portion of Port Purcell Road will become one-way traffic from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesday 29 August to facilitate the repair of a broken sewage manhole cover.
