OMG the driver must have been gazing. This time the scooter rider doesn’t seem to be at fault. Speedy recovery

That’s you guys solution? Put speed bumps?? Look at the mountain they put by CTL? You could barely drive over it.Speed bumps aren’t the solution for all problems. (Slows emergency services response time)Motorists just need to exercise more caution on the road ways to avoid collisions. Besides the same asphalt it takes to make those monster of speed bumps it could fill two potholes.

There are several clues in the picture and the story : (i) the damage to the front of the truck (ii) the direction the wheels are turned against the background (no pun intended) of the blue plaza (iii) the relative weight of the two vehicles and the fact the rider isn’t dead suggesting the scooter did not spin the truck. I have a fairly justifiable conclusion as to the direction of travel of the truck and how the accident happened, subject of course to contrary evidence.

Between riders breaking all road rules and drivers driving looking at their phones, it’s a miracle there aren’t hundreds of accidents a day.

Im with you on that one. Some places have 3-4 to speed bumps, some places don't even need so much speed bumps and this very same spot that has frequent accidents have none. Smh

Please keep the motor cycles/scooters off the road during this virus surge. The hospital needs the beds for virus infected persons not injured bikers!

Check the driver of the other vehicle to ensure that he/she has legally obtained a driver's license and not one obtained through fraudulent means from the HODGES creek crew.

Sad to hear our young people are being involved in these accidents. It is a waste of time and money for the motorists. The injured rider will have to take time to recover from his injuries and would require money to repair his bike. Does it worth it, certainly I don't think so. Just a note of warning for the motorcyclist. When yo are riding your bikes, please regulate your speed to save yourself and others on the road. By reducing your speed and show consideration for others it will enable you to reach your destination safely.

On this occasion it looks almost certain the truck turned right across the scooter rider and that the truck driver was negligent and at fault. Yes, there is a problem with the scooter rider culture among young local kids and manchildren but that doesn’t mean they are always at fault in accidents or that scooters shouldn’t be a very good part of our transport mix, alleviating traffic

sad to say that this motorcycle overtook me and 4 other vehicles also heading east just before the bend in the road before the dolphin discovery corner..( so before the new sports bar corner).it went straight down the centerline of the road between us and oncoming westbound vehicles. on the bend in the road.....he was going very fast. If i had had to pull to the right quickly to avoid a pot hole or something he would have been knocked off his bike............it was saddening to see the outcome of this reckless driving. sorry to hear of his injuries and i sincerely hope he recovers fully but also recovers with a better respect to others who share the roads.

Why do we always assume it's the biker's fault? He going East, the truck turning into Tag (I guess from town direction because of the damage to the front), maybe the truck didn't wait.
