Motor scooter rider rushed to hospital following collision with car

FAHIE HILL, Tortola, VI- Sometime after 8:00 AM today, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, there was a collision between a motor scooter and a car in the Fahie Hill area of Tortola.

The lone scooter rider sustained injuries and had to be rushed to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital. His condition is unknown to our News Centre at this time.

The motor scooter ended up partially under the car, which also sustained damage.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear at this time; however, police are said to be investigating.

We will provide more details once they become available.

    This has been going on for far too long. If the police can't stop visible, obvious, blatant road traffic crimes it's no wonder so many murders have not been solved. Every day you see scooters with no license plates, no helmets, I believe the law requires helmets rushing through traffic, more than likely no insurance and licenses. Come police, get your finger out of your a----s and do your JOB.

            Mehn all of ayo vehicle haters who don't love us bikers who actually practicing wearing a helmet to save innocent lives, need to ahut h**ll up. Because at the end of the day half ayo can't M.S cannot drive both left and right hand drive vehicles. From cars to trucks to say ayo need to have consideration for other road users. Jus shut up and analyze how these bikers are behaving ok! The ones who ride without flarings, helmet, and license plate, and weaving through like a set a crackheads with Gahh damm sense in the s ir brain, are the one you all need to stay far from. Not all the time when V.I.N.O post a collision about a bike we always have to take blame for every wreck. And by arguing over a bike accident making you sound like a complete idiot. I does ride bike way better than majority of these bikers who acting like they don't have a brain moving like as if them name God. Simple people just obey the law and you will make through the day by God's grace.

          Sooooooo, because the bike under the car that mean the bike at fault, that means if you on the sidewalk and you get run down and you under the car you are at fault, good to know

    Some of ayo people running under every bike accident blaming the bikes , when is ayo ignorant a$$ h**** cant drive. The BVI clowns (yall) dont respect motorcyclist and thats the problem. Tired of ayo now mahn , it has to stop. Everytime somebody get run down , is either ayo dont indicate or ayo cant keep to the left. Driving in the middle of the road and them dummy &^%$. Share the road, open your damn eyes and stop driving like clowns and I bet aint gon have no more of these accidents

    In life accidents don’t happen just so it takes a cause to create one. If he was taking his time on the hill he would not be where he at today. You can’t be overtaking on a bike when you don’t know how to balance urself in emergency time. We all humans and we have to be able to understand each other as road users. So people need stop talking about accidents unless you understand what transpired.

    @ to long you talkin̈g about all those things I see some peace bike i call them that passing east end police station no front no back and while you are at it traffic coming from east coming towards the police station. You coming from the ridge road if you don't careful thay mash you up so to DMV I think it need a line there and I don't think it is my suggestion alone
