The Virgin Islands Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has indicated that shallow low level patches embedded within a moderate trade wind flow could move across the area of the Virgin Islands (VI) today, January 23, 2023, resulting in moderate showers. Photo: VINO/File
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Virgin Islands Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has indicated that shallow low level patches embedded within a moderate trade wind flow could move across the area of the Virgin Islands (VI) today, January 23, 2023.

As such, this may lead to a moderate chance for shower activity over and around the islands occasionally during the next 24 hours the department reported.

Weather today: Partly sunny skies in general with a 40 percent or moderate chance of brief passing showers mainly during the morning.

Weather tonight: Fair to partly cloudy and cool conditions with a 20 percent or slight chance of a brief passing shower mainly after midnight.

Winds: East at 15 to 28 km/h or 9 to 17 mph with lighter spells overnight.

Seas: 1.2 to 1.8 metres or 4 to 6 feet.

Sunset today:  6:06 pm.

      We need the rain badly rite now my apt don't have running water.. Every Time the rain set up like it's going really pour it goes away..Seems like something driving the rain away.
