ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The BVI pairs of Marlon Solomon and Paul Mourillon, and Marlon Burke and Carldon Morton had a mixed Day One of the ECVA Beach Volleyball Zonal Tournament of the NORCECA Continental Cup in Antigua on Friday April 24, 2015, which saw the topped ranked St Lucia, St Kitts & Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda win their respective series.

The double elimination bracket started with the top seeded waiting for their opponents under sunny skies at the four courts installed at Castaways Beach.

Agustin Faulkner/Coen Caesar and Sheldon Descartes/Darnel Eudoxie from St Lucia, ranked number one of the competition, completely dominated 4-0 Marlon Solomon/Paul Mourillon and Marlon Burke/Carldon Morton of British Virgin Islands.

Second seeded, Everson Browne/Sterdroy Collins and Kemoroy Percival/St Clair Hodge from St Kitts & Nevis, reached a Golden Set to down 3-2 Deon Vidal/Yahn Florent and Lincoln/Riviere/Kerwin George from Dominica.

The home team Jamarie James/Collin Thomas and Adrian Constant/Yoshid Auguistr prevailed 3-1 over Christophe Parisot/Alain Pansiot-Villon and Rotilio Richardson/Gullaume Bryan from French St Martin.

The rest of the schedule in the winner’s bracket features St Vincent facing St Lucia while Antigua & Barbuda meet St Kitts & Nevis. In the loser’s bracket, Bermuda against Grenada, Dutch St Martin against British Virgin Islands and Anguilla plays to Dominica.

      somebody, please tell me why, we cant get the local results and schedule of our local league games but we can get the over seas tournament results, its a damn shame how volleyball is going to the dogs here!
