Miss Earth 2014 application process begins

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Welcome to the Second Annual Miss Earth British Virgin Islands Pageant! The Miss Earth British Virgin Islands Pageant is an organization which emphasizes intellectual growth, community awareness and environmental appreciation of the BVI. The sole purpose of creating the Miss Earth BVI Pageant is to help raise awareness within the community on the environmental issues that are based here.

Our goal is to help each young woman to gain confidence as they encounter challenges in an increasingly competitive world. We strive to provide each young woman with the opportunity to grow and advance within public speaking, personal appearance, social development, educational and career goals, while becoming a positive role model in the Virgin Islands community and abroad.

The winner of Miss Earth British Virgin Island will become an Environmental Ambassador of the BVI and will have the opportunity to represent the Territory in several shows throughout the Caribbean and international alike. We also encourage each participants to take part any positive program where they can become involved in the community. The winner will also receive the following prize package:

  • Trip To Miss Humanities
  • Trip To Miss Jamzone
  • $1000
  • Official Trophy
  • Official Sash
  • Participant Trophy
  • Official Crown

And More! 

Each Contestant will compete in the following segments:  

Introduction- This will allow the audience to get to know each contestant better. Contestants would also name their platform and explain how they would use their title to help benefit their platform topic.

Swimwear- Contestants will appear in swimwear of their choice.  Colors chosen by committee  

Cultural Costume- Contestants will appear in a Cultural Costume of their choice.

Talent- This segment is used to showcase each of the contestant’s talent. 

Evening Wear- Contestants will appear in a long gown of their choice to display their natural physical and personal attributes.

Question and Answer- On the night of the show each judge will place their question into a bowl and the contestant will chose. Each contestant will be asked the question that was selected.
