ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Meet Contestant # 1, Miss Anguilla Olufunmike Banks Devonish in the upcoming Miss Caribbean World Pageant slated to be held here in Tortola, the Virgin Islands at the Multipurpose Sports Complex at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday May 5, 2012.
Activities: President – Trent African & Caribbean Student Union Secretary General/Vice President – Anguilla National Youth Council Treasurer/Vice President – Albena Lake Hodge Literary & Debating Society Member – Trent Dance Team Member – From Within Dance Member – All ah wee Young Theatre Players Member- Girl Guiding Association Anguilla Member- Trent International Student Association

International Ambassador – Trent University

Her hobbies include dancing, and persuasive and motivational speaking. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies at Trent University, she plans to pursue her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology before returning to Anguilla.

She is currently employed part-time as an International Recruitment Student Assistant at the Trent International Program (TIP) office at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. There she is responsible for answering any questions asked by current or prospective students about admissions, enrollment, class registration, visa and study permit application and renewal or any other inquiry. Her secret dreams are to become very fluent in Spanish and to develop her dance skills to a professional level.

The person she would like to meet most is Oprah Winfrey because she is the epitome of strength and resilience.
